Bananas

Unfortunately anti-parasitic treatments are often used in banana plantations because the variety that they send abroad loses the ability to protect itself from disease. To avoid the risk of further disease during shipment the bananas are treated with another anti-parasitic called tiobendazolo.

In many plantations the women are forced to keep their hands into washing vats without wearing gloves. In other the anti-parasitic are sprinkle by air while they stay and work. In other plantations anti-parasitics are sprayed by children without protective clothing.
